Step 1 (Powerlessness): Using the 12 step.org source listed above, click on the Step 1 tab, read the narrative and then click on an audio and listen to someone’s story. Cite examples describing the unmanageability which often occurs with addiction that Step One of the AA program addresses.
Step 4 (Inventory) and 5 (Confession): Go to this same website provided (12step.org) and click on the step 4 tab and step 5 tab, reading the narratives and selecting an audio to listen to. Answer this question based on the information from this new website: What examples were given in the narrative that you listened to describing how the individual approached step 4 and step 5 of the AA program.
General Conclusion: After reviewing the 3 websites (make sure you cite them on your References page), what general conclusions can you draw regarding addiction/recovery?
