Bruce Tuckman, an educational psychologist, identified a fivestage development process that most teams follow to become high performing. Bruce Tuckman said that teams go through 5 stages of developmentforming, storming, norming, performing and adjourningTuckman’s model identifies the five stages through which groups progress: forming, storming, norming, performing, and adjourning.Tuckman described how teams move through stages known as forming, storming, norming, and performing, and adjourning (or mourning).
