 Nutrition and Therapeutic Benefit to Health Conditions. 
OVERVIEW:
This assignment will explore some of the external factors that can influence the food system, including food quality, nutritional yield,
contamination risk and the potential of therapeutic benefit to health conditions, by comparing and contrasting the impact of food preparation and
farming methods.
TASK:
This assignment requires you to discuss the impact of two (2) food preparation methods (or processing methods) and two (2) farming methods
on the nutritional value of foods, Including:
1. Briefly describe the two the chosen food preparations or processing methods.
2. Briefly describe the two the chosen farming methods.
3. For each of these, explain the impact of these methods on the nutritional value of food, based on evidence and how that might negatively or
positively influence health.
4. Additionally choose two (2) foods and develop a brief set of recommendations that would help a consumers select and prepare these foods to
retain the highest level of beneficial constituents whilst minimising exposure to potentially harmful substances.
5. Recommendations can be outlined in table form and included in an Appendix. Include a short summary of this table in the body of your Essay
with a referral to the Appendix.
6. Support your discussion of the all of the above information with references from quality sources, including, evidenced based, primary source,
peer-reviewed articles, government reports and textbooks. (See library guidelines and data base for further information).
