Prompt:
Select a controversial issue and make a reasoned argument supporting or opposing it.
Remember: The topic should not be too extensive – save the more complex issues for the research paper.
The writing will be scored based on well you:

Organize and outline ideas: Select your best arguments to support your opinion. Use one or two paragraph(s) to address a reader
counterargument.
