You will be required to prepare an analysis of policy. You will decipher a problem within the criminal justice system and create a policy based on the texts and lectures provided to present a possible solution.

The policy will be graded based empirical supported evidence, presentation/written structure and realistic goals.

The policy paper is essential testing your ability to understand how policies are created and your application of the lectures in the real world.

Examples of policy papers/presentations will be posted on blackboard and discussions will take place on blackboard which require your critique.
