For your work on instructional coaching, you have selected a colleague with whom to work. By now, you should have had a conversation with your colleague to help determine which skills that they would like to improve. Use what you learned in this conversation and what you have learned about coaching models and strategies to begin forming your coaching plan.
Describe the coaching model you have selected to use for coaching your colleague.
Justify your choice of this model; explain why you believe it will be most effective and why you discarded other potential models.
Describe 2–3 coaching strategies you plan to use.
Justify your choice of strategies by explaining how they align with the coaching model you chose and how they will help meet the needs of your colleague.
Identify 1–2 clear, measurable goals that will improve your colleague’s teaching practice.
Explain how you know that achieving these goals will improve their performance on the system’s teacher assessment system.
