c) highlights 1-2 recent cases of teams who have benefited from social media.( example only do not put in the paper,”Loyola-Chicago for the 2018 NCAA Basketball Tournament, the Houston Astros for the 2017 World Series, Chloe Kim from the 2018 Winter Olympics, etc”.) 2) Brand voice on social media
a)Defines the overall tone for the team’s social media accounts;
b) discusses how engaged the team is with fans;
c) discusses the consistency of tone across platforms.
3) Previous social media coverage of games, players, and staff.
a) Discusses what has the team done before;
b) identifies content that did or did not work;
c) identifies 2-3 opportunities and new tools to test out.
4) Highlight best practices and future steps to take on social media.
a) Makes 2-3 recommendations for the team’s social media and provides a rationale for each;
b)identifies 1-2 tools or platforms the team needs to be aware of.
5)Proposed game plan Includes a table with 5-10 content pieces;
a) identifies the date, platform, time, content type, topic and copy.
6) Measurement and evaluation.
a)Identifies 2-3 metrics that can be used to determine the effectiveness of the social media tactics.
