Write for me a journal

PURPOSE: Journals (J) depict that a student is able to critically analyze a work, such as a New York Times article, instead of just reading it and composing a restatement or summary. These J’s are based on your assigned readings from your They Say, I Say textbook. You are identifying the author’s They Say, I Say, the answer to the So What?, the answer to the Who Cares?, their naysayers, and then giving your opinion about the article. When you have read the assigned readings, these items will make sense. READ the assigned readings.
