Is laughing the best medicine? Examining the role of humour in crisis situations.

Scientific Essay on the use of humor in and for organizations, especially for organizational learning (!) with focus on crisis situations. Essay needs to have one paragraph introduction, one paragraph with arguments for the thesis (“laughing is the best medicine”, humor is good and helpful in crisis situations and for organizational learning), one paragraph with counter arguments (humor can also be harmful, negative, for example it can prevent organizational learning), one paragraph conclusion (is laughing the best medicine or not?
is it more positive or negative, especially in crisis situations?)
–> because it has to be a scientific essay, arguments have to be supported with examples, like a case study or analysis of memes (e.g. Corona Crisis) –> underlying question: how is humor used right/wrong in organizational context/copmpanies?
In which cases is it helpful and positive, in which disturbing and negative? How must humour be applied correctly in organisations to be beneficial for organisational learning?
