Places with Concentrated Wealth and Privilege (Geography Paper)

This class fulfills a writing intensive requirement. Students will write four reports throughout the semester. Two reports will be about places with concentrated poverty and the others will concern places with concentrated wealth and privilege. Tip: students are free to write about whatever interests them provided they maintain focus on the place provided. Report Guidelines: Deviate from any of the following guidelines and lose a letter grade. 1. Students will write their names on their papers 2. The reports will be 475 to 525 words long 3. The text will be double-spaced 4. The font will be easy to read 5. Three different sources (webpages, articles, books, etc.) will be used to support claims 6. In-text citations and a bibliography will be used to credit sources 7. Prose will be clear and comprehensible
